What happens if the weather isn’t ideal for our photoshoot?
I’m always keeping my eye on the weather and if it doesn’t look good then I will contact you beforehand to try to sort out another date. I will be as flexible as I can. Photoshoots still go ahead in overcast weather as it can be very flattering. However, if it’s raining, the photoshoot will of course be cancelled with no charge.
Do you provide high-resolution images?
Yes, I provide all the edited high-resolution digital images.
What should I wear for my photoshoot?
The first rule is to wear whatever makes you feel amazing! Otherwise, for vacation portraits in Provence, it’s good to stick to lighter colours. No solid black. If someone in your party wears red or bold stripes, they will stand out more than everyone else. Feel free to bring costume changes or fun props like a straw hat.
Do you do Product/Lifestyle photography?
Yes, I do product photography/content creation using natural light. See my work with Château Gassier or Domaine la Valdition on their Instagram. I create a certain amount of photos & videos for these two vineyards on a monthly basis.
What does a Morning/Afternoon Photo Tour consist of?
This can be anything you like! I can organise a picnic in an olive grove, we can explore the market, hilltop villages, Roman ruins and more while taking photos in different locations. This is a fun souvenir and you might learn something! You will need to have your own transport for this. I can lead in my car, or go with you in yours. A tour could start with a lavender photoshoot, a tour of Gordes market, then a village like Roussillon.
Do you retain the Image rights for your photos?
Yes, I retain the copyright. I will ask you to credit me as the photographer whenever sharing my work online or in print.
What Time of Day is the best for the Light in Provence?
This will depend on the time of year and location of the photoshoot. In June and July the days are quite long and this is when the lavender is in bloom. Because the fields are flat it’s really important to use that beautiful soft light in the early morning (around 6am) or evening (around 8pm). The rest of the year is a little more flexible.

Can you give me ideas for proposal locations?
Yes of course! We’re spoiled for choice here in Provence. We can work around where you’ll be staying. However, see my “Engagement Photography Provence” article on my Provence website for specific ideas.
How long is turnaround for photos to be delivered?
I do my best to get the photos to you asap. This means usually 5 working days or during June & July 12 working days or sooner.
What is your price range?
Photoshoots start at 400€ (not including tax) for an hour portrait photoshoot and go up from there. The price depends on the amount of time you’d like for the photoshoot and location. The more time we have, the more locations we can explore and the more relaxed you’ll feel in front of the camera. I only charge for travel time after 35 minutes of driving.
